Context

Mon Service Déchets (MSD) is a white-label web and mobile (iOS & Android) digital platform designed for the citizens of the local authorities that benefit from SUEZ’s services. It aims to inform and guide users in their daily waste sorting activities.
To support the deployment of the MSD Digital Service, the Suez Circular Solutions entity, part of SUEZ Smart & Environmental Solutions, asked Astrakhan to handle both product ownership and the conduct of a functional and technical audit.

Our achievements

• Acceleration of the MSD product roadmap on Web and Mobile, and deployment of new features
• Helping to meet the needs of local referents, as well as local government tenders.
• Specified new features for optimal user experience
• Accelerated the adoption of applications by users and support new commercial deployments with local authorities
• Audit of the functional and technical solution in place:
o Functional and UX limitations,
o Analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the administration site and of the content update process.
o Study of the risks to avoid
o Definition of a target tool and platform
o Proposal of target technical solutions & SWOT
o Macro-calculations of the planned platform changes and migration to the different possible target solutions.
• Co-writing of the specifications for the redesign of the Web and Mobile platform
