Data transformation and analysis of water consumers for Veolia
Context
As part of its Consumer Data Publication program, Veolia Water asked Astrakhan to implement a number of data extractions for local authorities.
Veolia subsequently extended the mission to include a cross-functional team dedicated to the transformation, structuring and analysis of consumer data following the migration of certain data to a Cloud platform, paving the way for numerous in-house projects.
Our achievements
● Implementation of a program to automatically extract a data set from the Data Warehouse to XML files structured in different ways
● Integration and processing of textual data
● Implementation of a textual data transformation pipeline
● Creation of a customer data cleansing and formatting pipeline in a CRM software migration project
● Design and creation of business object views and indicators
● Implementation of a proof of concept for segmentation of anonymized customer data in order to provide a service for sending invoices by email
